Today we flew from Siem Reap to Bangkok for the last leg of our trip.  I was a little sad to leave Cambodia as I found it charming and loved the spirit of the citizens.  As I said before, keep an eye on Cambodia, I think it is destined to become a tourist destination shortly.

We are getting pretty tired and the heat is taking it's toll.  We spent the rest of the day at our hotel by the pool.  Tomorrow we tour again on foot witha guide.  It is a major holiday tomorrow, the Thai New Year, where they celebrate by throwing water on everyone.  We can already see the water fights beginning our of our hotel window. They also make an offering at the temple in the morning, wash the Buddha figures and clean their houses for the New Year.  Apparently they celebrate three New Year's here; Jan 1, like we do, Chinese New Year and Songkran - Thai New Year.  They get three chances to make those resolutions I guess. I will report more tomorrow after I see how wet I get, which will no doubt be a wonderful experience in this humidity!
