Today Jason, Tami and I took our white water kayaks to the Landingville Dam. Jason also just got his first kayak a few weeks ago so he is learning as well. Tami has been paddling for quite some time.

We put in just near the fire station and started paddling toward the Dam. The river is quite low in many places. We could see the bottom of the river in many spots.Jason and Tami are brother and sister and they were carrying on with each other. They were using their paddles to splash water all over each other when Tami's paddle broke! She had a used one and it just snapped in half. Unfortunately we weren't even a quarter way into out trip down the river! She had to use the paddle halves like oars and attempt to row the kayak! LOL it was funny as hell! Jason was teasing her and calling her Sacajawea. LOL! We were having a good time with it.
I managed to get some good pictures with my water proof digital camera! Tami actually managed to keep up with me and Jason pretty well. It was a nice leisurely paddle down the river into the dam.

We saw several turtles and lots of different types of birds. When we got into the dam we could see lots of motorboats out. There were several people water skiing as well. It was a nice day and a nice place to play on the river.
