Country road, take me home

Hong Kong was most definitely an interesting and arresting experience... but it was almost a relief to leave after 3 hectic days.
That was until we arrived back in Heathrow airport at 5.30am on the coldest, most miserable Tuesday imaginable! You may know that Heathrow bus station is pretty grim at the best of times, but having to wait 45 minutes for a late bus in a bitter wind tunnel watching the sleet, was just too much for us. We were SO tempted to turn around and get the first plane out anywhere - after all, we couldn't have been more prepared - all packed with passports and credit cards at the ready!!
