Nothing much really happened today.

I didn't go on the excursion to the church today.   I saw a lot of churches the last leg of my Art History class and the idea of seeing them in person didn't interest me.  Plus, I really just wanted a day to relax.  I was nervous about meeting my host family the next day and I was excited to finally have more of a schedule rather than just running around to different places everyday.  I woke up for breakfast around 9:30am and then went back to sleep.   I slept until almost 1pm.

I used a stretch band I bought to workout a little.   Then, I read my book "The New Spaniard" by John Hooper by the pool.   I actually enjoy reading the book, which is about Spain since the death of Franco.  Usually I only like fiction books, so I'm surprised that I'm enjoying this book.

I went to dinner with 3 of the girls in my program.  We went to a hookah bar.   The dinner we ordered was very good.  I'm glad we found that restaurant.

Oh, and before we had dinner, we saw a gay pride...concert.   I think it was suppose to be a concert.   There was a small stage set up and 2 drag queens were talking and one sang.   At the end of their talks, the one drag queen told everyone to dance and who cares who sees!

There weren't actually many people in the plaza where the concert was held.  But, Toledo isn't very big.  In Madrid, I'd imagine that there would've been a lot more people in the audience.
