Dahab is very chilled and laid back. We sat by the beach sipping milkshakes and eating all sorts of fruit, and a tiny little kitten went and sat in my lap. So adorable! I crazily signed up to climb Mount Sinai at 1am (too hot in the day) and watch the sunrise. It was hard work, and I am glad it was at night cos I would have baked in the day. I even saw a shooting star at the top! The sunrise was very orange and there were loads of people chanting. Then it was back to the hotel to sleep and lounge by the pool. Oh and camel riding along the beach in the evening. Next day came the fun part...I went scuba diving!!!! It was soooo amazing I saw all sorts of colourful fish including clown fish from finding Nemo that came out and swam right up to us from their anemone. The water was very salty but I loved it and went again the next day this time seeing a lion fish. I now want to do my Padi Open water qualification but that will have to wait for another time. Also went snorkelling in blue hole and saw a pufferfish and cut my leg on the coral. Also managed to swallow stupid amounts of salty water. After going horse riding in the desert on a slighlty spooked horse we spent our final day in Egypt on the beach. The sea is so salty it is very easy to float so I just paddled about and sunbathed a but. Plans to go water skiing were scuppered when the boat broke down so i'll have to do that another day too. So it came to the end of the tripand we found ourselves back on the overnight bus to Cairo. Sob!
