We left Hoi An on the overnight bus, which was much more comfortable than the previous overnight bus, but we still woke up every time the horn sounded or the driver put the brakes on. We arrived in Nha Trang early in the morning, checked into a hotel and went to sleep. A few hours later we went in search of food. I had barbecued shrimps cooked at the table, which were very good. Then we headed to the beach. It was incredibly hot but the waves were far too high to swim and there was a strong current so we decided to go for a walk. We walked for about an hour to a giant Buddha on a hill which was not worth the walk at all so then we walked back.
The next day we went on a boat trip where we went snorkelling. We saw some coloured fish and kept getting zapped by the jellyfish (tiny ones). We went sailing around the pretty islands and lounged on a lovely sandy beach. We went swimming, and I plucked up the courage to jump off the top of the boat (2 storeys), and had a nearly-losing-my-bikini incident! We went to a floating bar and had red wine while swimming in the sea and also went to an aquarium and saw some freaky looking fish and some turtles. That evening I realised that I had severely sunburnt my back to the point where it was actually lobster-coloured with perfect white lines from my bikini.
We had decided to spend Christmas day here but changed our minds because it is a very big place with lots of cars and we wanted somewhere quieter so on Christmas Eve we took the bus to Mui Ne.

I have a Christmas tree made out of old seed packets in one of my many arboretums. Also the song reminds me of when the yokels in my surrounding grounds serenade the wonders of Liechenstein!
