First day at the Tourist Office and they signed me up for all the free tours ! An initiative by the Hong Kong tourist office for this year.
So, I've neen on a tour of the Victoria harbour on a Junk, to several Chinese Cookery classes, a Feng Shui class, a 3 hour Architecture Tour of Central, a Tea Ceremony, Tai Chi etc. It's been wonderful !
The Raleigh Hong Kong group have been great. They've almost killed me with kindness !
They all took me out for supper, the following day we met for Breakfast... Dim Sum .They had booked a table with a magnificent view in a High Rise restaurant
Bowie, escorted me around Central, stopping off for the local delicacies ie Chris Patten's egg tarts etc! Yesterday, we went to Lantau Island there is a new Cable Car to go there to see the Buddha. We had a vegatarian meal , visited Tai O a fishing village, and returned on the ferry.I'm exhausted!
No Internet cafes in Hong Kong so today, I've come to the Central Library.
I'm staying in a Chinese Guest House. We smile a lot at eachother!
