A bit of a coup

We returned to Bangkok today to get a flight to Vietnam.
There had been a military coup in Thailand since the last time we were there. We hadn't seen any evidence of it until now -- I think people back home will have a much better idea what had happened than we did.
Anyway, from our perspective nothing had changed from the last time we were in the city apart from there being a few soldiers about the place and the six or so tanks parked up outside government house. The tanks seemed to have become a tourist attraction with both Thai people and westerners taking pictures with the soldiers. The soldiers were even taking pictures of them. We even saw a school teacher getting her class to pose in front of one of the tanks.
