We spent a week in a lovely villa in Kissimmee. We had not been here for a few years so we wanted to visit one of the parks and also have a browse around the many outlet shopping centres, as well as spending some time relaxing at the large onsite pool in-between thunder storms.
We decided to visit Sea World which we really enjoyed, especially as we managed to obtain the tickets for $25 each instead of $70 just by attending a timeshare presentation for 90 minutes including breakfast, what a bargain, no we didn't buy a time share! I'm not a lover of the fast moving rides and we have only been to Sea World once, the first time we visited over 15 years ago so that was the park for us. We enjoyed all the shows, the Journey to Atlantis splash ride was great too, even if we did come out soaked. Good job it was hot, we dried off in the sun whilst we waited for our turn for the Anheusers-Busch beer tasting at the Brewmaster's House. We highly recommend this along with the free beers at the bar after!
Over looked by most tourists, Historic Downtown Kissimmee has many antiques shops, restaurants and a few old buildings too. Worth a couple of hours browsing. Well worthy of mentioning is the Laniers Historic Marketplace, it's an amazing maze of a shop, situated on Main Street.
