Job! At last! I got a call from Telequip, the company Jim was working for, for three months and they got my CV in the post and I started the next day! works out at $500 p.w. after tax so should keep the bank manager from the door for a few weeks anyway! I have been there three days now and have already been told i will be going to Fitzroy Island on Monday for three days to install a system at the main resort there! The Island is meant to be beautiful and I have been told to bring a snorkel and make the most of it! This company i like already!!!
I have settled in to a bit of a routine now which i suppose is not much good for the persona of a backpacker and the content of the travelogue may suffer! Alas the money needed to continue exploring the planet needs to be earned and I will endeavor to include as many interesting facts about the exciting world of telecommunications as possible. No? oh alright then i will post a few photo's of the past few weeks and keep you entertained with the sight of me in full scuba gear, or on top of a table in the Woolshed dancing, or whatever clean photo's i can find House and Pool

So again apart from the news of the job and an impending trip to Fitzroy Island, not much to report.
Congratulations to people back home to must be included, so Well done to my mum who has passed her exams and now has even more letters after her name and continues to get even more qualified than yours truly! Well done mum and enjoy the Helicopter ride on Saturday (today)
To Paula (My mate Gavin's sister) and Warren who got Married today also Have a great day!
Also to Susie who left our house this week to go to Alice Springs have a great trip and see you when you get back to Cairns!

Hope everyone else is well and enjoying the summer! (I know I am, every time i write an entry Liverpool have won another trophy! This time the UEFA Super Cup beating Byern Munich 3-2) Today Europe tomorrow the world! :-)
