Ok, so it is not as easy to get work as i thought it would be! I have tried all the telephone system dealers only to have various noses turned up when i mention a working holiday visa, and the fact i can only work for three months max.! well excuse me but i didn't make the rules matey your government did OK!
Still i have had a few"we will let you know"'s and i have spent the past few days trawling the kinda shops and places i would like to work in. I even tried the local Irish Bar PJ O'Brians and have to call back Monday to see the manager! Of course i have barwork experience! my new CV says so, so i must have! I have joined a job club thingy who's usefulness was described along the lines as "chocolate teapot", and "ashtray on a motorbike", but the good thing is for $35 (13 quid) you get free internet access for a year all over Oz, so it is worth that at least! but if they think i am going fruit picking in some tropical heat storm for $5 an hour no chance!

The house has come at a good time too as it saves money and with Cable TV keeps us away from the bars during the day! The Charity Shield was an interesting nights viewing by the way Darren!
So no real update but i must say Hi to a few people i have met in the past few weeks!

Angela and Mark, Well done with the dive course B good and get that van sold, cheers for the tips on India

Charlie and Barbara (and Family) hope you enjoy catching up with the travelogue sorry it has taken this long!

So for now i will continue the job hunt and anyone who has been to Cairns before (Daz) and has any tips on good jobs, get in touch! I need all the help i can get! AB
