The rest of the stay in Queenstown was a bit of a mad party with the bus crew and the only down side was the cameraman for our group photo standing on my sunglasses and smashing them. Still he did get me the two group photo's free and i have purchased a better pair that should see me through OZ. The last night was a great big party and i staggered home at aroun 5.30 am to read a notice that we had to leave at 8am the next day for a 7 hour drive back to Christchurch. Now time for a final meal with my new friends before returning to Simone in Auckland (who i have just heard via e-mail is now an Auntie to a new baby Boy, welcome to the Uncle/Auntie club Mone it's great c ya tomorrow)
I will fill in details of the South Island later as it is still a blur and i need to go eat!

I have time for a quick update at last, Queenstown is the party town of the south Island and i have certainly did it justice. First thig was the skiing and i had great advice from the Driver of the Kiwi Experience (Elvis) and i booked a day on Cardrona resort. It had been 14 years since i last hit the slopes and it is really like riding the preverbial bike, you remember most of it immediatley and the falls get less frequent as the day progresses. The resort was amazing but sadly or rather luckily i had no camera with me as the falls at the start may have ruined my holiday if it had been broken. The view over the mist covering early morning Queenstown was breathtaking and i did a few well execute parallel stops to take in the view on many an occasion. The rest of the day saw me progressing to a blue run which i managed to navigate at the end with no falls. Quit while you are ahead is a good moto and i retired undefeated at aroun 4pm well satisfied.
