Fasten your seatbelts folks, for another riotous adventure tale from the Blythe and In-Law Global Wandering and Golf Flailing Association (BIGWAGFA). Sophisticated adventure followers will recall that earlier such yarns encompassed the Hawaiian Isles, Spain, Portugal, Greece and the Aegean Islands. Side trips to Australia did not make it to print, and those complaining that the Hawaiian escapade didn't either will be accused of picking nits.

The escapade of which we now write began following the shopping spree that was Greece in 2007. Our Aussie component advised a wish to carry out a two week recuperative tour of Prince Edward Island, being a lesser known Province in the eastern maritime region of Canada. This idea was eagerly adopted for reasons that are currently unclear.

Fortunately for BIGWAGFA, Malcolm and Paula, of their own volition, conducted a scouting expedition to said island Province, and returned to report that it would be impossible to spend two weeks in P.E.I. and retain one’s sanity. Our vision thus fine tuned we revised the proposition to include a run through Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and – what the hell since we would be driving by anyway – Montreal and Quebec City.

And so it was decided, following blizzards of e-mails and numerous phone calls, that the Ontario elements of the Association would journey by car/SUV/truck to Halifax, where the Aussie members would meet up with us.
