Elephant spotting

one day looking for elephants and seeing lots of ostrich!
Addo Elephant Park We spent the day on safari again, driving around the park in search of elephants. Thinking that as it is an elephant park we would have no problems spotting a few, but after a couple of hours, we were thinking of suggesting that they change the name Addo Ostrich Park! We spotted loads of these big birds plus some zebra and a buffalo. We were eventually rewarded when we watched an elephant drinking at a water hole, when suddenly about 20 more appeared to join him (including some cute babies). While we were watching them, one particularly massive elephant walked right past the front of the car from behind us, giving us a bit of a shock. Thankfully he was not interested in us, only the water. It was a great experience and we carried on watching them for about 15mins. It was a great end to the day and we changed our minds about the park name!
