RAIN!! WASH OUT!!!!! - its ok we had good books!

06.03.05

The plan today was to drive to Milford Sound. Unfortunately the rain had got so bad that the last part of the road from Te Anau to Milford Sound was closed. We ended up sitting in the camper most of the day while it poured outside. By about 5.30pm the rain stopped and we even saw some blue sky. At about 7pm we headed off towards Milford Sound and stopped for the night at a DOC campsite beside Lake Gunn.
