After giving our thanks for a great week we said our farewells to Tim and Sue, wishing them all the best for the future with their new baby-to-be and set off south from Melbourne towards the Great Ocean Road which runs around the South West Coast of Victoria between the towns of Anglesea and Warnambool. It has been described a one of the world's most spectacular coastal routes with lush rain forests, sheer and ragged cliffs, idyllic sandy beaches, mountains, forests of towering eucalypts, interesting rock formations, great state and national parks and charming seaside towns, all with the usual souvenier shops, ice cream and fish and chip shops and beautiful sandy beaches, not to mention more tourists then locals!
