! We then caught thThe pools were only 3ft deep but thet were cool. Then the tram back to our hotel for more food!! Not eating the buffet again tomorrow we couldn't face it!! We did a time share tour the next day to get cheaper tickets for a fab show called 'KA’ Cique due Soleil! Afterwards we went for a swim in the MGM Hotel, The water was so warm it was amazing. We went to the show in the evening it was amazing show which originated in Quebec Canada. After the show we all went to bed except for Andy who tried his luck on the Black Jack table!! It started well but in the end he lost a few dollars!!! The following morning we tried our luck one more time by putting $1 each in the slots; We are still not millionaires!!!
We're now on the way to see The Hoover Dam.
We arrived in Las Vegas about 2.00pm, after driving across a desert past a massive solar plant which must has been the size of 40 football pitches! There is no slow introduction to Vegas. It just hits you!! Desert then Vegas what a contrast! When we parked the car, you could tell it was really hot as even with full air con inside the car was really warm. Getting out of the car was like walking into an oven (120f). It was so hot and the sun so strong that even carrying the cases 200m to the hotel was hard work! We booked into the Excalibar Hotel for 3 nights. We explored our Hotel and then went for a swim to cool down. We shared an extra large pizza for tea and walked half way up the strip to Caesars Palace!! It was hard work as it was 100f in the evening!! The next day we decided to pay for the all you can eat all day Vegas buffet!!!! After a full breakfast we looked around the MGM Hotel went for a swim there. Lunch time!!! We then caught the tram to the top of the strip to the Sahara Hotel! We walked to the next hotel called Circus Circus which has a full theme park inside it!
