Where I stayed
We then walked up Peace Avenue and stopped Eggsy from browsing around the State department store.
We then went to the The National Museum Of Mongolia showing the history of Mongolia, it was only a pound to get in and we made the most of it reading everything in there, looking at every exhibit. Very interesting to know more about Mongolian history.
Going to head off for our one meal of the deal to have the 3pm drinks followed by food. The budget is good in Mongolia and we are struggling to spend our allowance even eating in posh restaurants with chandeliers, marble etc.
Also of note are the old timers in the city who still wear National traditional dress. They look ace but we have refrained from taking photographs of them so might pinch some of the net to attach to this. Some also appear to be dressed as cowboys which is something we didn't see in the museum
We will not be updating for a few days now. As the temperature seems to have reached a sweltering -25 degrees (daily temperature) we have decided to spend a few days going camping. We are heading to Karakorum (the old capital), the sand dunes on the Northern bit of the Gobi (although we can not be sure where this is at the moment) and a National park for another day Gorki Terelj National Park. We will be doing a bit of horse riding, Camels are not available either because of the bad winter or the cold and god knows what else.
Erica edit: Ok, the cake was not that big, and all the other women were eating it for breakfast, so when in Rome...
