We travelled onwards to the Grand Canyon seeing many different sights along the way.  Most of it was desert, and a lot of driving, but we stopped a few times to take photos of cacti and big rocks!  We then stopped for lunch in Sedona, a small tourist town (where buildings were strictly only allowed to be of natural dirt colours) and Tali and I went with others from Contiki on a back country Sedona desert Jeep tour. It was an intersting dusty ride, where we went into the outback and to a original indian hut.

Our bus then continued onward to the Grand Canyon, and we arrived in the evening. We detoured via a lookout to witness the spectical, before unpacking at our cabins and eating the worlds worst meal for dinner, which acquired a mutual rating of 2/10 and playdough bread.

The next day we caught a free bus along the rim, and went to a far lookout.  It was a dehydrating and long walk back, but it was a breathtaking view, with lots of squirrels and deer to keep us entertained!  The best view was probably at night watching the sunset, somewhat incredible.
