Our flight from Vienna to London Gatwick arrived in good time and we managed to catch the last bus/train home before we had to fork out loads of money for a taxi home.

After using our one full day at home to repack and finalise details for the mddle east, we jetted off from gatwick airport at 9 am on Saturday -thanks once again to Stephen - and landed in Sharm el Shiek at around 7pm local time. Easyjet was once again late and we had landed an hour after we were suppose to but we had organised a pick up this time so it wasn't too stressful.

Sharm was very hot compared to London and the last trip we'd done in Europe. The lady of the bed and breakfast had told us that it was 45 degrees later on in the day, so it was a taste of things to come. The bed and breakfast that we stayed in was a beautiful family home. The room were rustic but in a stylish modern middle eastern way-I took photos to steal there design concept!  Of course we turned up the air conditioning to full blast but the poor machine really didn't stand a chance, so it did the best it good to neutralise the heat!

We need to catch the train to Cairo the next day and it was advised that we pre book the bus service, so we walked to the local bus station (overtaken by a camel at one point) and booked ourselves in for for the 11am bus to cairo the following morning.

Unfortunately due to the late arrival, no chance to see sharm or naama bay, but we will be back to Dahab and the red sea later on.
