My mini-holiday within my holiday continued today with another lazy one! I went for a solid run this morning reaching my normal point at St Julian's however adding a few kilometres from my relative's house in Gzira. I then settled in front of the computer to chat to friends and family at home on messenger. Around 9:30 in the morning here it is 5:30pm at home so by that time in the afternoon most people are up for a chat. I normally have 5 or 6 conversations happening at the same time to my brothers, mum and friends including the guys at work. I love it and catching up with everyone that way is a fantastic way to do it.

My brother Nicholas is loving it living at my house in my absence and has officially asked whether he can move in when I return...hmmm not likely. I asked him how things were going at home and whether there was much mail..."Oh Shit!" he writes, before a brief pause and then he writes "there is over 15 items in the letterbox and they were spilling out the back of the letterbox onto the front yard". Seems he had failed to check the mail box for me in the last 3 weeks Ah! What a beautiful day. :)
Ah! What a beautiful day. :)
. Yeah he can move in, real catch there ladies, form an orderly queue.

Spent the rest of the day on the beach with Olga, she is leaving tomorrow night which is not great but we are enjoying the time we have together whilst we are in Malta. My Maltese lessons are going well, today I bought some things to go some way to paying my way at my Aunties house and one of the items was a bunch of bananas. Whilst being served in the shop, in my best Maltese voice, I say to the lady serving me, "Scuzzi, what do you call a banana in Maltese?"...she answers "Banana"...yes I am on fire with the language. :)

Cousin Michael and his wife Josette came around tonight for dinner. I always enjoy their company and Josette is very funny and is often laughing, normally at me trying to speak Maltese. I got my laptop out and did a bit of a slideshow of some of places I have been on my Malta journey. They were amazed how many there were and it was fantastic to relive some of the memories we have shared together in the last few weeks. I have one more day of total relaxation time before my adventure picks up with the trip to Sicily. I am glad that I pushed it back as now I am really looking forward to getting moving again and exploring new lands.
