After waking up at 7:30am, for some un-godly reason, I got some breakfast and moved into the new place. It is filled with old artefacts and Chinese trinkets and the owner is a bit mad (in a nice way).
I hang about in the cafe waiting for the others towake up and at 1pm, we decide to get some breakfast/lunch.
After pooling our ideas, we all decide to go to Langkawi Island tomorrow and go sight seeing today. We set off and went back to the mansion, only to find we are too early for the tour. Luckily for us there is a bar open across the road. We head in and the bar is themed like a dungeon. We are served drinks in test tubes and measuring beakers, and by the time we have finished, we are too late for the tour and so decide to see an Art gallery.
On the way we pass the Penang Museum which, for only MR1, is worth seeing. There is weapons and Opium beds on disply as well as a history of the island.
We leave for the Art Museum and find it is a good, contempry art museum featuring artists on the island. It is small, but the art is really good.
We head off for Fort Cornwallis and stumble acroos a hugh Chinese Temple with lots of people praying and making offerings to Buddha. We quickly look around and head for the Fort, which was rubbish.
Feeling pleased withmy day so far, we head back to our place and make plans for cheap drinking and have some food. Indian, again.
