I woke up early today to send a box of gifts and things home. This was easier than expected, but expensive and I will think twice about sending things home until the end of my trip.
After that I waited around for my bus which, on my ticket, said it would be at 11am. A short, but hot and sweaty walk to bus station later, I was told that it would be at 1pm instead. Back to the hostel to dump my bag and then get some dinner. People had been telling me about Roti Chani and I found a place where I could still get them. The only problem was that as I was eating, so where the prostitutes from around the corner. Much staring and kiss blowing went on (from them, obviously) and I finished my lunch quickly.
I picked up my bag and headed to the bus station where I was made to wait 30mins for the bus which didn't actually set off until 2pm. The journey was pleasant enough and I found myself in the mountain ranges after just 4hrs.
The town looks pretty relaxed and the are plenty of tea shops to keep me occupied for the next couple of days. The rest of my day was spent planning the next day which will involve hiking a couple of short trails and a visit to a tea plantation.
