The Miaos are one of the two most important tribes of Eastern Guizhou, along with the Dongs. They are even more colorful than the Dongs and just as welcoming for the strange looking people that we are to their eyes.

The Miaos are also very diverse in the sense that they dress very distinctly from a village to another. The men also follow a very peculiar dress code that's unique to each village.

Here's the first Miao village I've been to.
