Everything you heard about Prague is true. It really is as beautiful as they say. So beautiful in fact that I'm afraid the next few places I will go to may now be disappointing. Prague just raised the bar a little too high. Not strategically located, it never played any significant role in WWII so it was spared from the massive bombings that destroyed nearly every capital of Europe at that time.

The scene is simply breath taking. Just when you think it can't get any better, you turn a corner and it's even more beautiful. Most of the attractions are within a couple mile radius so that makes it possible to visit it within a couple days only.

Even though prices when up big time in the last decade, as the Czech people is increasingly enjoying the benefits of capitalism, it is still a fairly cheap city to visit. You can still get a full diner and get drunk for less than $10.00 if you get off the main touristic streets. At a dollar a pint, the local bear is truly hard to resist... ...Oh, and what you heard about the Czech girls is also true. They too are pretty hard to resist !!!

Unbeilivable hard quickly on gets to know other people when travelling. We went out one night and I knew eight people in the club. It almost felt like home. And I didn't know anyone in Prague when I got up that morning. That's part of the fun of traveling.

Prague is definitely one of the best preserved and most beautiful cities in Europe. See for yourself...

FRANCAIS:
