A long and draining day at Auschwitz and Birkenau Concentration Camps. There's not much to say really. It was sad and important and something I'm glad we did.

What I found strange about the whole experience was how many people were posing for photos with some of the more grim and graphic displays. It seemed really wrong.

From Auschwitz we drove back to Budapest to return home, with an overnight in Trencin, Slovakia along the way.
