In 2.5 hours we leave for the airport. Bags were finally packed last night and luckily everything fit. Hopefully we won't have any arguments along the way about checked vs carry-on luggage. The goal is to avoid checking anything--less likely for stuff to get lost that way.
So, the larger bags in the picture have our clothes for 6 weeks, as well as toiletries and a few other random things. Since scale is hard to determine in that picture, they're roughly the size of a small, carry-on roller bag. The smaller black bag has the laptop, camera equipment, and some random other things that didn't fit in the large bags. The small red bag has all our medicines, books and other things to keep us busy on the plane, and any other last minute adds that don't fit elsewhere.
