Ok, I've been really slack about updating but it hasn't been the best news since my last entry. That mountian bike tour I went on didn't turn out so well. I had an accident and have suffered a concussion. I've suffered some amnesia as a result and can't really remember past breakfast of the day of the tour up until waking up in the back of the van a few hours after the accident. I can't even remember ever being on a mountain bike. After spending the night in the hospital in La Paz, which was not so great since none of the nurses spoke any english and it was my first time in the hospital, so I have to admit I was a bit nervous, especially with all the needles they kept poking into me. The next morning after I was released from hospital I decided (given the doctors advice) that it would be best for my health to fly home instead of continuing on the trip. I got on an american airlines flight that evening and made my way home via Miami. It turned out to be a good decision since I was feeling pretty crap for the first few days when I got home and was having a hard time keeping food down which according to internet research can be a common side effect of a concussion. I am feeling better now and really pretty bored here at my parents house in Canada. I still have a flight to England on May 25th so I am here for a bit. My brother's baby is due any day now so at least I'll be around when my new niece decides to join the world and I can help out with the baby and my other niece. I'll probably start updating again once I return to Europe in May so don't expect too many updates until then.
