Yay, Yay, Yay...
I have a flat. Feeling sick on Friday night while lying there in my 10 bed dorm I decided that it was time that I found a place to live. Saturday morning I woke up and went to internet cafe to start my search. The cheapest area in London seems to be out East. I looked at two places in the Bethnal Green area and decided on the second one. It's a 3 bedroom mansionette (duplex). There are 6 girls living there, two per room. I only managed to meet two of them, the girl I'll be living with who seems pretty nice and another girl. It's an international house with a German, aussie, a couple brazilians, etc. Should be good and I only have to give two weeks notice if I decide I don't like it so then I can find something else. I didn't know it at the time but it's actually only a 2 minute walk from my friend Delphine's place so I'll have a friend really close by. The rent is cheap too at only 57 pounds a week. I get the keys next Sunday when I get back from my trip to Birmingham to visit my Aunt.
Funny thing happened yesterday too, I ran into someone I work with while I was walking down the street in Bethnal Green. In a city of millions that I only know maybe three dozen people in, that was pretty weird. Bet that is the last time that will happen too.
I forgot to mention in my last entry something interesting that happened last week. I went with a couple friends to the tattoo parlour for them to get tattoos. One of them fainted and fell on the floor where he convulsed a little. I still am thinking about a tattoo but i'm a bit less enthused after seeing that.
