Ok, I loved Killarney. I really like the small Irish towns. I've been tempted to get a job in Ireland but there is so much to see near London that I'm continuing on. I think it would be great to live in one of the little cottages on the hills though, close to a small town.
My last night in Killarney was great. Met a couple Canadian guys and an American guy and decided to go on a pub crawl through town. Killarney is about 1/10 the size of my hometown and has about 10 times as many places to drink...the Irish are doing something right. I got to see a lot of the traditional Irish music in the pubs while in Killarney as well.
I got to Galway yesterday afternoon. It was the first time this trip that I managed to get to the hostel without getting lost. Yay for me...I hope I continue to have such luck.
Met a girl from Chicago in my dorm. Went out to look around. She decided she wanted to get a tattoo so I spent a good part of the afternoon watching her get a tattoo. I'd actually never seen someone get tattooed before. I think I'm going to get something at the end of my trip as a way to remember it. I have lots of time to decide what/where to get it.
Beautiful day today, may turn out to be my first day here with no rain. I'm going to go see how expensive it is to rent a bike as there are some bike trails down around the water. Booked onto a tour tomorrow to see the Cliffs of Moher. Looking forward to that.
