My first night in Dublin I woke up at 3 am when a bunch of drunk irish guys staying in the room staggered in. There are 16 beds in the room and a single bathroom. One of the guys spent the next hour vomiting his guts out in the bathroom. I left at 7:30 in the morning in order to take the 8 o'clock bus, which I couldn't get on. I had to wait 2.5 hrs in the station until the next bus but I would much rather have waited in the station than that dorm which did not smell pretty. I figure it's a good thing though as from here on I consider a room that doesn't smell like vomit to be a nice place.

I'm in Cork now. Today I went to Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney stone. I don't want to think about how many people have had there lips on that thing but I had to do it anyway. Turned out to be a beautiful day and I had a nice walk around the gardens of the castle.

I've been exhausted the last few days. I don't know if its jet lag or what but I've been so tired. Another reason why it's great to travel alone, I don't have to feel bad if I want to take a nice long nap in the afternoon.

I'm off to Killarney tomorrow, booked for 3 nights there.

Hey Dude
Hope all is well it seems to be. I joined so that i could make comments and keep in touch through your blog. I am totally jealous, except for the vomitting guy part that is all you. You have no luck with people and their ability to keep their food on the inside. Well all is well here and i am happy to hear you are having fun. Love Rachael
