The final days of preparation are here. I've been working for 8 months for this trip and it's finally just around the corner. I'm leaving for Dublin, Ireland on Thursday Sept. 14, 2006. Until then it's going to be a mad race to get everything done that needs to be taken care of before I leave.

My last day of work was yesterday. God, I never thought it would feel so good to be unemployed again, even if I will miss the people I work with. Unfortunately, I don't think I will get to sleep in much this week since 1) I have lots to do and 2) there are contractors at my house this week remodelling the kitchen. Oh well.

Last night, I went out for dinner with the family. We're going out again on Wednesday for 1 last family meal. Today I plan to travel down to Toronto. I'm visiting my grandmother, my aunt and my little cousin. I've already said goodbye to many of my friends that were heading back to university and over the next few days there will be lots more goodbyes.
