So Geek Week is officially over now.  It ended with a BBQ on Magic Island last night.  I made it home by 9, nerded till 11, and slept a solid 8 hours.  Today I was actually going to sight-see a bit, but it's been raining all-freaking-day.  Which really I don't mind - I live in a desert so rain is a good thing to me.  It does tend to make you not want to go walking around outside, though, so I decided to spend this Sunday catching up on work.  I've gotten a ton done, and I've played online a lot too. 

I also managed to make it to the gym for the first time in five days, so that's making me feel more human again, too!

Now I'm wondering what I'm going to do for the rest of the night.  I
was going to go to some haunted story telling thing at the JCCH with a
meetin group, but I'm not so into being scared.  I'm thinking I'm going to remain showerless and just keep on working, do a little reading, order room service, oooh or maybe go to the mall - it's right across the way.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to fly home but instead I'm going to check in at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach for four nights, then off to @judico's until the 8th when she goes to San Francisco, then back to one of the Sheraton properties or maybe wrap my last two days up at the Marriott Waikiki (where Tiki's is!) before I head to Vegas for Pubcon.  I so love that everyone is holding down the fort for me in ABQ while I have my midlife crisis :)

Finally caught up with you!!
Hope the rain is gone, desert girl, and that you are having a great but relaxing time. The Island looks gorgeous, lucky you! Karen
