Hi guys,

Most of you know by now the how our travel plans have changed and we are on our way home tomorrow, May 1st! It has been such a whirlwind of a past few days as we spent 3 days at the hospital: consulting with 3 different medical specialists, several blood tests, X-rays, and 2 MRIs! James was a rockstar through it atll. We have a better understanding of what is happening in James' body but still need to pursue some further testing in the US to make sure he is on the mend! We were so glad to have really good medical care in the most amazing facility!

I am feeling pretty drained emotionally and tired physically and James is resting, trying to feel better. He has alot of joint pain but it has lessened since the start so that is great. He has had some pretty serious (though not life threatening) health issues and we feel it is best to come home and try to get him well in the good ol' USA!

We are a bit overwhelmed with feelings...excitement to be home and reunite with friends and family, disappointment that we can't finish the trip, concern over his health...all that jazz. This all just seems so sudden that we are still trying to process it all. We know that we are blessed to have been able to do 9 months of travel together and we have loved this journey and will truly cherish and be grateful for the many adventures we've had, people we've met and places we've explored.

We do have a few more blog entries to share with you about our quick jaunt through Cambodia, so don't think this is the last blog you'll read! Never say quit!

We do want you to know how much we've enjoyed blogging and sharing with you about our trip. Thanks for taking the journey with us.

I am sad to hear you guys had to cut your trip short, but very glad to hear James is feeling better and getting good care. I've enjoyed sharing your trip and reading your blogs, it reminded me just how much more world is out there besides the USA. Beautiful places and history both amazing and disturbing. Glad you guys could have such an amazing experience. Hope to catch up soon.

It's sad that you guys had to cut your traveling short. It seemed just yesterday that Mr. Anderson told his class that he was going on a year long trip. Time has flown by and you guys are already done and another school year is almost over. Hope you recover well and maybe I could see you back at CdM next year!

I hope James feels better sooner than later. Talk to you soon.
