It's hard to believe that we have less than 3 weeks until our year-long adventure officially begins! We say "officially" because we have been preparing for this trip for a long time now: deciding when to go, where to go, how long to stay, what to see, what we need to take, what we don't need to take, what immunizations to get, etc. And the truth is that we  still don't have all the answers or plans set which is part of the adventure!
These last couple of weeks will surely be an emotional time as we say goodbye to friends and family but we are encouraged by a few words we've read recently that we'll share with you now:

We are so excited for this truley 'great adventure' you will begin in a few short days. I love that this has been a dream of both of yours for so long, and you are final doing it. Bryan & I will be praying for you as you go from country to country to see God's land. We love you and will miss you tons. Can't wait to travel with you thru your blog entries.

Hey guys!!

I've been reading about your adventures and I'm so stoked for you both! Just wanted to leave a quick note saying that I'm praying for the two of you and for the Lord to continue is provision, guidance, and protection. Miss you, but so glad I can read what you are up too. Any luck with hearing the 'humps' song? Probably not but had to ask!!
