Reading - Departure Day

Well, we are just about ready to leave, although our rucksacks aren't totally packed yet and we are still doing some last minute washing! We've begun bickering already as we can't agree on what to write here (bodes well, eh?).
We are much more excited and less stressed today as we have finally done all we can in preparation for the trip. Unfortunately I didn't manage to sell my car and Andrea was not able to rent her house before we were due to depart, so we would like to say a massive thank you to our parents for picking up the respective pieces.
Another thank you goes to The Fatman who is taking us to the airport later on and helped fuel our desire to travel the world.
Rather than prattling on about nothing in particular, we'll sign off just now and get back to you when we have more interesting things to say. It's Bangkok to start with - my first time in Asia - we are really looking forward to it...
