I tried to attach pictures, but it was taking a long time and I got tired of waiting for it to down load :( So I will send the memory card home since I got the new one in the mail!!!! We are in Tana now and it's nice to see Alannah and speak some English!!! We went to the bank and then mom host mom called and we met her downtown! It was random, but good to see her. She said that all the kids and her miss me and I said that I miss them too. It's so quiet without all the kids! Anyway, tomorrow we will go to Jumbo where I can stock up on stuff like powdered milk and toothpaste. I talked to Aunt Beth and Jen today (thanks for calling Jen ;) and it was so good to hear from them! I also went to the Peace Corps office and got the giant box from Britt, 2 packages from M and D (with the MP3 player, shirt, and other goodies) and one from Uncle David and Aunt Colleen! It is SO nice to have music! I look forward to getting your call tomorrow..... and Kristy called, but it was really bad reception and I couldn't hear so I told her to call back later tonight. I hope she does call back!!! Ok, I better go, but i wanted to say hi and that I love you all. Talk to you tomorrow (or maybe next monthm Jen!)

Just saw the ringtailed lemurs this morning and they say hi.
The latest big thing is next Friday the 29th at the Zoo! We have the Barenaked Ladies performing here at the zoo! Eric & Kathy are going to do a live show here that morning Chicago time 6-9am. I don't know if you can listen live or download a pod cast from the internet (gotta love that AL Gore for inventing it)and then you could pretend you are back here in the states commuting to work! Hi, Amy! Nice to hear you rec'd Britt's big box and the other packages including the one from David and Colleen. Hope our things (2 packages and 1 padded mailing envelope) get there for your birthday. Our house is coming along real well, and the weather here is turning cooler just as yours is turning warmer. I wondered if you could teach the kids there to play a word game like 'I went to my grandmother's and I took my...' First you'd need to teach the words for several items of clothing, food, etc. After demonstrating the game with a group of about 6 students, then divide the whole group into small groups and let them try. It might work! I keep thinking about how to do things with a group the size of yours...Good luck and God bless! Gram
Happy Halloween from Tana!
Hello all! Just wanted to say hi and that I am in the capital for All Saints Day vaca. from school. It has been good times and we even handed out candy at the Peace Corps directors house for the American community Halloween Party. I put on a halo and went as myself!!!! He he he he! School is great, I teach a million kids, and it is starting to get hot at site. I hope to get some more pics to my bro soon so you can all see my house and school. Thanks for all the great packages, bday cards, letters, etc! I love hearing about life at home. I will be in the capital this week and next, so feel free to contact me if you want.
