We're happy to announce that Amy has officially graduated into a full fledged Peace Corps Volunteer! Having completed the necessary requirements of training and integration into the environment, Amy will now be moving to her new site to teach for the remainder of her time in Madagascar. She also recently purchased a cell phone, which we have spoken to her on a few occasions (reception is surprisingly good!!! Almost no delay!!) Please see the attached pictures of the ceremony and village, and of her host family! (9 kids!!) Thanks to you all for keeping Amy and our Family in your prayers! More updates as they are available!
Love,
Jason

You look great!
Hi Amy, It was so good to see you on location! You look great and very happy. Uncle Randy and I enjoyed all the pictures. It's so nice to see where you have been staying and your host family. Take care, Love Aunt Merry
Hi from Downs!
Dear Amy, It was great to see your pictures! Grandpa and I poured overthem for many minutes looking at all the details. Pictures are worth a lot of words!(maybe not a 1,000, though!)Congratulations on your graduation and acceptance into the Corps! You have earned a lot of respect we are sure, and we sure do admire what you are doing. Hang in there--and good luck with your teaching! Much, much love, Grammie and Grampa F.
Congratulations!!!
How exciting!!! The pictures were wonderful. You look terrific. Thank for sharing those, now we can picture your host family and even where you sleep. God Bless you. I know that you will be a great teacher. Love and hugs, Cathy
