First of all I have two book recommendations for you all haha.

1. Cutting for Stone
Clara gave me this one and it about a hospital in Ethiopia and follows a set of twins there. I cannot explain it but look it up it is really really good. I have leant that to Abi to read now.

2. The Book Thief
I borrowed this one off Beth. It is sooooooo good. I couldn't put it down. This one is basically about a girl who steals books and lives in Nazi Germany and has a Jew in her basement and it is written by death. Really good book.

So enjoy haha.

I have decided I don't like the Dutch. Well maybe there are more breeds that do it but I have only encountered the Dutch. I am at a school that teaches english. The majority of volunteers that come here are Dutch as there is an organisation that does it here from the Netherlands. English is their second language and they aren't good enough to teach it. They write something down and I have to corrrect them all the time. They can however hold a proper conversation in English. SO why do they all talk in Dutch to each other when I am there. How the hell am I meant to take any enjoyment from that. Fair enough when there is no one not dutch their but as soon as there isn't hellooooo. It happened with the Dutch girls when I first arrived and it has happened again now with all these bloody dutch people. I think it is really rude though. You just get left out of everything unless you start a conversation. Oofftt I do get annoyed by it. Anyways moan for the day.

I went to the Gianyar night market today and they had fish in bags like you used to get at the fair all hanging up. Like a hundred of them ! Image of the night for you :)

I have had my last lessons at Slukat now and I leave to go to the Gili Islands on Friday. So two more sleeps here. I am sad to leave but also excited as there are lots of dutch here now and It is time to move on. I am coming back to Slukat on the 5th August for their opening ceremony of the new year. Which will be nice :)

Hi Amy glad you are fully better. I have read Cutting for stone and I think I recommended it to your Mum it remains one of my favourite books. Try Sea of Poppies by Amitav Ghosh a brilliant read once you get into it. Enjoy your travels
