BLINCOS Rule worldwide especially David Blinco!!!!
It´s charmingly silly comments such as written above by David Blinco that made me want to go and check out who to blame for spawning such a man. So on a cold and sunny day I made my mum and dad drive 120 km from where we were staying in Scotland to go and check out the place responsible for creating the Blinco´s. The drive was beautiful and was definitely in farming territory. Cows were mooing, sheep were bleating and tractors were honking us as we drove through narrow country lanes trying to find Blencowe. It was great. Eventually we came to sign pointing us in the right direction and we found our way. Blencowe is a very small villiage in a picturesque part of England. It consists of about 10 houses, a small town hall, a pub, a church and a red telephone box. There is also a beautiful stream running beside the church. We parked in the centre of the villiage and stickybeaked around. We poked our nose into the church (which was very old although I can´t remember the exact date) and asked the only person we saw what time the pub opened. Unfortunately the lady told us it didn´t open to 6pm so went and looked at the stream, took some photos and after seeing everything drove to our next destination.
Overall I thought Blencowe was beautiful. I also had the strange satisfaction of knowing where the person I love and one of my closest friends originated from. Blencowe rocks! More thumbnails ...
