Speeding up from Bundi's pace Jaipur, the state capital of Raj, called next.
A blitz of the main sights in Jaipur - the Royal Palace, the observatory (for 5 mins!), Wind Palace and Amber Fort in a rickshaw day trip - killed the tourist bit in one day. Our driver, with his comical squeaky voice, weaved inbetween the traffic and cows like Schuy trying to get up the field to first. The sights were done. The attraction of the big city, limited mainly to Pizza Hut(!), only lasted one day and we headed country bound to Samode and it's hill top dotted temples and forts for some escapism. Rajasthan was done. More thumbnails ...
