Life of Pai

In search for a dose of adrenaline, Pai and its white water rafting expeditions seemed the ideal spot.
A hippy laid back mountain town, its sleepiness contrasts the thundering river that passes at its doorstep. It was on this that we paddled, floated and swam (only when forced!) screaming through the white water and rapids for eight hours with little help from our companions on the boat who tickled the water rather than putting in a decent stroke. On meeting our group, four ex army Israeli guys, we thought it would be plain sailing. Unfortunately we were wrong and they whinged as hard as a ladyboy getting her/his hair wet. We got through the whirlpools, had much fun jumping from a 10m high canyon and bathed our feet in the hot springs.
Weary bodies were rested at our groovy guest house, it even had a dvd player! More thumbnails ...
