My Birthday

I'm 23 now... I feel soooooo old!!! :P

Balloons

Well it's hard being away from family on your birthday, but I still had a really lovely day. In the morning, Pete and Suelan gave me some birthday balloons and brought in chocolate cake with candles on it.. and they even sang to me (Callum joined in as well!) Chocolate cake for breakfast... how did they know I'd like that?? ;)

Then Suelan and I made our way to the Hampstead Heath extention to watch the ladies rugby team play. We got there late (uh, aske Suelan about that :P) but we still managed to watch half the match. Unfortunately they lost by just a few points, but it was still a good game. Then we went to the pub for some yummy thai food and a bit of socializing. Suelan bought another cake and the rugby team sang to me!

We got back to the house early evening and Callum gave me a gift. It was a bottle of sparkling wine! So the four of us (Callum, Pete, Suelan, and I) cracked open the bottle of bubbly and had a birthday toast! :)

Later (after we watched some tv, including the all-important "24") we went to our neighbour Kish's house for home-made profiteroles (yum yum yum!!)

It was a really nice day... quite relaxing, and fun... just what I had in mind for my birthday!
