Today my uncle woke up in pain so he didn't go to work. The sun was out, and there were no clouds out so when he got out of bed at 11 am he decided it would be nice to go out for a walk. He drove us to Tandle Hill Park first, it was a big and beautiful park. Lots of people were out walking their dogs. I took a photo just about every step I took ha ha it was just picturesque. I was amazed and fascinated by the trees in the woods- they were green! Literally, took heaps of pics. We walked up hills and took in the views of Oldham and Rochdale. We could see farms and country side. We could also see city buildings. There was a foul cow manure smell just like there was in Switzerland! Lots of farmers.. So we carried on. Shortly after that. my uncle spotted a squirrel in the woods. It was on a tree eating something. It was So cute. It wasn't friendly like the other ones. I managed to get a photo of it, not a very good one compared to what I've already got! We also saw it digging for food it had buried, my uncle explained. It wasn't interested in the bit of biscuit thrown on the floor. I also got to see a real holly tree that has red things on it at Christmas. We got back to the car park at saw a Robin jumping by the cars. I wanted to get a pic, my uncle threw it some biscuit to encourage it. It came out a bit, but the people and dogs made it fly away. I got a few good pics of it though.

We then went to another park in Chadderton. It was neat and pretty, but not as big as the last one. Got some beautiful pics. Walked along the canals and saw some wood pigeons. They are fat birds! Tried to get a good pic, got a few for Dad! Also saw geese and ducks. It was still a beautiful day but cold in the shade.

We went home after that and watched 'coach trip' that is a funny show. We talked about what to have for dinner, I suggested fish and chips, as we were already getting fish and peas for Nana's dinner. We picked it up from the chippy. They have these places called 'chippy's' and they are run by asians. They sell pies, and all sorts of things. We got our dinner and then went round to Nana's. She was still in bed sick. We gave her her fish and we ate our fish, chips and mushy peas. They tasted- no joke- Amazing. BEST battered fish I'd ever tasted and with the mushy peas and chips- it was so delicious. Aus don't have it that good hey!!

Afterwards, we went round to another uncle of mine's place. Uncle Dave, his wife and kid's place. It was really nice to meet them finally, they are very nice. Only got to meet one of my cousins, out of the 4 there. We watched British Football, and I enjoyed watching it. Man City and someone else. Man City were very good, they won 3 Nil. Tough game, good to watch.

It was a really nice day full of beautiful parks, yum fish and chips, and meeting more of my extended family :-) fact: British fish and chips are AMAZING. :)
