Tapas!!
Entry 8 of 50 | show all | print this entry |
I have decided that tapas are the greatest invention ever!!! It cant get much better to get a total of 3 drinks and 3 tapas for a wopping total of 5 euros!!! How awesome is that!!!
Friday night I went to school to watch some Tango dancing and guitar playing with a couple friends, Colette and Julie!! It was very cool to see. The tango is a lot more detailed than I imagined it to be!!! A lot of small steps and movements!! Then we went out to a bar for tapas, and a late night craving for ice cream later!!! Haagen Dazs!!! yummy!!!
One day last week my madre was telling me how she was going to cut her son's hair over the weekend!! I told her I needed a trim, so after she cut his hair, she trimmed mine up!! That was a nice money saver!!! Then Colette, Julie, and I went to go to this art museum, but of course it was closed for siesta:( We ended up walking up to the actual university campus in the hills or mountains, whichever they are considered!! We saw the school montasery and the fútbol team practicing!! The campus was gated and closed, so we didnt really get to see much there, oh well!! I have been taking advantage of siesta time big time, because I came back and napped for like 2 hours!!
Sunday the weather was beautiful almost 65ish I bet!! I took advantage of it and ran outside!!! I like running through the city and going different ways to see different places and things!! Keeps my run interesting!!!
Granada: 1. 98% of the businesses and storefronts, when shut down, closed with a garage door looking door and the windows on most buildings are barred.
Leaving for London and Dublin on Wednesday for a week, so I am really looking forward to that!!!! Made skiing the Sierra Nevadas during the day Wednesday!!
Class tomorrow and then done until February 7th!!!!
