Cairns sure does look like a fabulous, tropical paradise, but it's hard to tell through all the rain and the clouds. Today we spent the day at a crocodile park and watched huge corcs jump out of the water for ripped apart chickens and fish. We also witnessed the crocs death roll and heard the incredible power of their jaws snapping together. It honestly sounds like too huge bricks of solid concrete smacking together. Not something I would like to be in the middle of. We really wanted to sail on a live aboard dive ship out over the Great Barrier Reef, but we're going to have to save that for another trip. Damn rain. I don't understand how anyone lives in places like Ireland or Oregon where it rains all year round.
