Some asshole stole our camera. Now we have no Galapagos photos, no rafting photos, and no biking photos. 100īs of photos are now lost forever, Iīm literally sick.
To top off our horrible few days, when we got to the airport to catch our flight for Buenos Aires, they sent us on a wild goose chase. Everytime we add a flight to our round the world ticket they have to reissue all the tickets for some ridiculous reason. So we went to the AA office, they sent us to the LAN ticket counter, they sent us back to the AA office who then sent us to a different office which was a $5 taxi ride away in some huge mall. During this time, I was frantically taxi-ing back and forth from our hostel to the internet cafe and back to the airport to try and find our camera. No luck. We finally got the lady at the AA office in the mall to understand what we were trying to do and we made it back to the airport just in time to catch our 9 hour flight with 2 stops in Guayaquil and Santiago.
At 3:00a.m., tired and grumpy, we arrived at our crappy little hotel only to be given lip from the Argentinian behind the counter accusing me of not making a reservation which I definitely did. After a large frustrated sigh and a small, "give me a room or I will kill you" - look, we were given a private room with bath and cable TV. Now thatīs more like it.
