Well, not much to say about Medellin consdiering I spent most of my days there in bed sick. Lame. The part of the city we stayed in is called the Zona Rosa and it reminded us of the states. Really nice neighborhoods, fancy restaurants, packed clubs and a huge designer mall. The streets actually had lanes which people sort of abided by and the taxis had meters. Much easier than haggleing in Spanglish for a good fare.
We stayed at Casa Kiwi which turned out to be pretty expensive. However, it was comfortable and cozy. It also had a flat screen tv with a bunch of couches for watching movies and a pool table in the game room. We were definitely at the party hostel. The game room was always pumping music and the staff was more than willing to help you find what you needed. The night we left there were having a costume party for Halloween with DJs and what not. Too bad we missed it.
