New York starts with San Francisco... Hyatt on Union Square. From our room we look at I Magnins (now Macys) with a neon green red wreath in every window. From the 36th floor a view to the north (Alcatraz, Coit Tower) and for breakfast the view west (Grace Cathedral, Twin Peaks) and south (the San Bruno Hills). SF looks different from downtown looking out, rather than the way I grew up - Twin Peaks looking west.
