So, San Francisco was quite the adventure. The hotel we decided to stay in only had a room with one bed, it was a full house. We decided to suck it up for one night. It was pretty rough, but they were offered us two beds for the next two nights. We woke up and headed to Haight Ashbury fthe next day. We ate breakfast there, and spent some time and money. It was like "the village" of San Francisco. Afterward we went to Golden Gate Park to relax in the sun. Later on we headed back to the hotel, so we could move into a new room and get ready for dinner. They put us in another room with one bed!! They couldn't move us and it was way too late to find another hotel. The Hotel turned out to be a bad choice, but you live and you learn. We went out to dinner at Fisherman's Wharf. It was so cold and foggy on the water! We can't believe the weather changes we have been through. We went from 115 Degree weather in Phoenix, to 90 Degrees in San Diego, and the 60's in San Francisco! We made it a quick dinner and got back to the hotel for sleep again. It looks like all this driving is starting to catch up to us..
Yesterday we got an early start, and we were able to go to the Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Street before lunch. Lombard Street is famous because the road is a zig zag on a huge hill! We took a walk on it, and drove down it. After lunch we went to Berkley to explore. There is a street called telegraph street that we heard described as "modern day haight ashbury". We went on a tuesday, so there was not too much going on. On Saturdays Telegraph Avenue is shut down and there are tents that line the street with vendors. Leaving Telegraph Ave we were able to get a glimpse of U.C. Berkley, which looked very nice. We went back to the hotel afterward for a much needed nap! After our nap we went out to dinner at place called "Nicks Crispy Taco". We were meeting Amie's cousin Billy there for some tacos. It took forever to get a table, but once we did we had some good eats and good times.
This morning we headed out of San Francisco, and stopped in Sausalito for breakfast. We went to this cute local place, and got a table outside facing the bay. We had a great breakfast, lots of tea and coffee! We went to the Muir woods, and then a 2 mile walk within the woods. Sarah said "it looks like a maze of giants!". The trees were gorgeous and they looked like they were touching the sky. We had a really fun walk!
We are now stuck in a bit of congestion on our way to Lake Tahoe. We will be there for two days, and we cant wait to relax!

We are working on the pictures!
